About me
Over about the last 20 years, I have been learning about and practicing evidence-based psychological methods to help people from all walks of life to enjoy a better mental health experience.

I have worked in prisons, government health and administrative departments; as a private practitioner; and in research.

Currently in research is the “Efficacy and Predictors of Outcomes of After Death Communication (IADC) Therapy in Treating Grief”. The goal of this therapy is to significantly reduce the psychological pain of unremitting grief experienced long after the death of a cherished partner.

Early results of this research indicate that IADC is confirmed as a very promising intervention.

The impact of chronic disease, particularly in our senior years, is almost an essential part of growing old for many and I am very interested in sharing your experiences.

My clients are typically adults seeking relief from psychological pain. Depression, anxiety, and stress feature prominently.

Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder and other trauma-and- stressor-related disorders occupy an increasing part of my workload.

Of particular interest, however, is my treatment of Complex Prolonged Bereavement Disorder bringing relief from the psychological pain at the death of a beloved partner in life.

I administer therapy face-to-face, by telephone, or by Zoom.
